Hi folks,

We just wanted to say a massive thankyou for playing at our wedding on Saturday. Everybody had a wonderful time. It was great seeing so many people on the dancefloor all evening.

We have had so many comments over the last few days from guests saying how brilliant the band were…. but you already know that!! The kids in particular really enjoyed the ceilidh dancing and a special thankyou for giving them some guidance!

The Ann Dickson Band have played at lots of events I’ve been at over the past few years – including my brother’s wedding last October – and they are always brilliant! They play a wide variety of tunes, Ann has a great voice and the dance floor is always packed. (And I should probably apologise for leading the chant of ‘one more song’ on more than one occasion...!)

The band played at my daughter’s wedding last weekend (23 July) and were amazing. Anne and the others had their work cut out organising the Scottish Country Dancing as there was only one Scot amongst the guests. Despite at least half the guests being Spanish, Anne had us twirling and turning our way around the dance floor. They were great fun and very accomplished musicians. They played a great variety of music and I danced so much that my blisters had blisters!!

We just wanted to thank you so much for helping to make our wedding the best day ever. I know we will only be repeating what you have been told by many others but we were so impressed with how fantastic you were. Leading up to the wedding when people asked who our band was, as soon as we said it was you guys, numerous replies were “oh you’ll have the best night ever”. All night long people commented on how great you were and we are still hearing from people complimenting you. The dance floor buzzed all night and the atmosphere was brilliant. One of my favourite songs is 9-5 by Dolly Parton and I hadn’t even requested it and you played it much to my delight! We will only be hoping that any wedding we get invited to from now on have booked you.

Absolutely wonderful night! I made quite a lengthy request of songs prior to our wedding on 14th October 2006 and expected perhaps one or two to be played. The band were phenomenal and played EVERY SINGLE REQUEST and smoothly went from one era of music to another with true class and style. The dance floor was full from the start to finish and everyone continues to rave on about the band to us. Superb night made by the best band in the highlands!
